This anime is not at all what it first appears, the first half of the first episode is probably the greatest misdirection of all time, although viewers will definitely notice that something doesn't seem quite right.

Based on the manga series of the same name, the anime covers volumes 1 to 5 of the manga. There are some differences in details, but it's generally consistent in spirit.
