Mahou shoujo for the first few episodes, moral dilemma for the rest.

At first I thought the entire series would be mostly one pattern, which might have been fairly enjoyable on its own, but it actually has some continuity and deeper plot starting around episode 9. The quality was consistently good all the way to the end, particularly the great variety of voices in each episode, and the different ways that the villains (or otherwise) end up in hell. Definitely a series worth watching.

There is also a manga series that is being published around the same time the anime was being aired, and a second season with many improvements.
