It's not really anime.

Robot designed to control the city got better idea and decides to take over the world.

There are quite a bit of philosophical issues discussed with this anime, none of which really original. It may have based on a 1925 movie of the same name (somewhat justifying the style). Beyond that, neither the plot or character design pleases me very much.

I am bashing this "anime" because none other has failed my very low expectations so spectacularly. At least it's not Disney, I guess. I get more kick out of watching Mazinger Z.
