A girl with the power to modify the entire world, and an old man.

Despite the title putting Alice first, the highlight of this series is actually the old man Zouroku. This is one of those rare series where the old man is surprisingly cool, and did so mostly by exercising common sense. The fact that there are all these other bizarre fantasy stuff going on in this series is really icing on the cake, Zouroku made the whole series worth watching.
