Based on the novel series by the same author who wrote Toradora, this is best seen as an older version of Toradora. There are no superhuman characters or anything out of the ordinary, although the split personality due to amnesia does feel somewhat unique. The opening animation (especially the second opening) was very well done and gotten quite a bit of praise, but otherwise this series didn't feel particularly special because all characters and events were so absolutely normal and inconsequential. While there were decent drama that felt realistic, such as Toradora, this particular series just didn't seem to have much going for it, and I would not feel it was a loss if I didn't watch it.
