Read the original manga instead.

Based on the manga of the same name, but inheriting the worst of both SHAFT and Gainax's animation. Worse than certain cabbage anime which at least appears to have taken some effort, some episodes appears to be intentionally neglected to the point where it's insulting (especially episodes 2 and 10). Not recommended for anyone, especially fans of the original manga.
