Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori | 2023-03-27 |
More hell action. Similar concept to the first season, but more colorful, and more action for the three puppets. Almost an improvement in every way. Ai's dialog on the boat in episode 5 is most precious! Other than that, this series maintained the lack of closure -- the bad guys go to hell, but the good guys go too, eventually. Particularly near the end of the series, there is quite a lack of distinction between good and bad, and it's made quite clear that Jigoku Shoujo is really a servant of hell, rather than an agent of justice. There is some ending for Ai, but the series as a whole lacks closure, more so than the first season. It's worth watching once, but because of the ending, I am not sure if I would watch it to the end again. + Google
