Entire anime is drawn in old style, really plain solid colors and not too much shade. When there is blood (and there were quite a few such scenes), the blood was pure bright red, it's really disturbing...

Once you get past the non-typical art style, you will find an even more non-typical story... Saying that it's just a bunch of disturbing kids killing each other is not exactly fair, but it's almost accurate. This anime is for those who are tired of watching the usual stuff :)
