Based on the novel series and the manga series of the same name, this is a colorful series with thrilling events. Sure, it's just games, but for every game there were multiple lives at stake. In this sense it's very reminiscent of Sword Art Online, but other than the risk-life-for-game aspect it's completely different. Unexpected events unfold in every episode despite the games being very familiar, all while maintaining great visuals and animation. The only downside is that this series is incomplete (the novel series is still going), but most likely there would be another season. Definitely worth watching more than once.
