Final weapon girlfriend.

The title itself is the best description for the series -- it's final weapon to its extreme (end of the world, couldn't be more final), and it's girlfriend in that extreme too (couldn't find a typical girlfriend). It delivers what the title promises, though probably a bit more than what people may have expected. It also followed the manga very closely, minus some adult parts.

Very touching as a love story, add in the tragedies and this series feels very much like Kanon, except it's a lot darker. Good story for people not afraid to be extremely depressed...
