Old school giant robots.

Well, not really giant robots, but old school alright ;) Complete with steam powered machines and beautiful girls who operate them. This movie follows the same spirit of the game: merge dating sims and robot fighting action, and you find lots of people buying it.

The movie is beautifully done, especially the opening scene with the song and dance. Actually the first half of it involved a lot of background information (dialogs), but most of the second half are beautiful fight scenes. This pace and format is comparable to the first first Card Captor Sakura movie, but a lot more colorful ^_^

Even if you have not played the game or watched earlier OAVs, you should watch this just because it's so cool ^_^
