Doesn't make much sense but it's fun to watch.

I thought this is one of Gainax's better works. Maybe it's because we never expected it to make sense in the first place, but just wanted to watch cool stuff with great music, which it delivered very well ^_^

If you watch it over and over though (and it's worth watching again), there are lots of interesting details that are interesting to notice... but maybe it's best not to think about this anime too much ^_^;;
