Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae 2014-03-22

Immoral.

Continuing from the previous series, in the third series we follow the life of a girl who might become the next Jigoku Shoujo, but ultimately just fades away in the end. Other than this extra viewpoint, most episodes are similar to the previous series where targeted individuals are being sent to hell.

One thing worth noting about this series is how the people who are sent to hell usually don't deserve it. There are some of this in the previous series, but not as strong a message as they did it in this series. This immoral aspect, together with the fact that Ai is not quite the focus of the series anymore, makes the series less appealing to watch than the previous ones, in my opinion. Despite the improved visuals and extra characters, this might be a good place to end the franchise.
