Totally outdone Air, or even the original game.

To clarify, I am talking about the 2006 version by Kyoto Animation, not the 2002 version by Toei (13+1 episodes).

Everything was perfect. It was faithful to every detail, jokes from the original game mostly made it through, plus a few new originals. The music was also all in place, including a few samples from remixed versions (e.g. Refeel). And finally, the artwork totally outdid the original, with the memorable scenes replayed in the familiar settings, but animated and redrawn to the usual Kyoani quality. Nothing to complain about, a series that's worth watching over and over.

... and then, at the end of the last broadcasted episode, there was an announcement for Clannad...
