"GJ Bu" by Araki Shin

"GJ Bu" by Araki Shin.  This is an amazingly consistent and balanced series.  This was how I rated this series after reading volumes 1-9, and I would give it the exact same review after having read all of "GJ Bu Chuutoubu".  The second 8 volumes plus the two extra side episodes are still very much the same as the first 9.

The extra consistency might mean that anyone who read the first 9 volumes might as well not read the next 10, since they are mostly the same.  But anyone who have made it that far will likely be sufficiently addicted to keep going, and perhaps reread some of the chapters later.  There is no graduation from GJ Bu.

Volume 9 was a good place to end, but the ending in the final "Loss Time" volume was not bad either.  Looks like there won't be any more "GJ Bu" novels, but having established 4koma novel as a format, maybe we an expect more easy reading in this new light light novel format in the future.
