"Edogawa Ranpo Meisakusen" (Edogawa Ranpo Masterpiece Collection). A selection of seven twisty tales.
This is a subtly different title from an earlier work that also translates to "masterpiece collection", although a more literal translation of "meisaku" would have been "famous works". This book was published shortly after copyright for Edogawa Ranpo has expired, but I am sure people who prefer physical books will buy a copy anyways, especially since this book includes Ranpo's own afterwords that are not easily found elsewhere.
The content includes murder mysteries with many levels of indirection, and it's not obvious who is the murderer and who is the victim. It also includes many detailed arrangements of optical illusions that are a hallmark of Ranpo's works. Some of these include a sense of meta-story that describe Ranpo's role as a writer from either first person or third person perspective. And all of them include a display of human psychology that are beyond what most people would consider "normal", possibly enough to make some readers cringe. It's difficult to describe each one without spoiling the tricks that are employed, but rest assured that the tricks are all fresh and distinct from Ranpo's other works.
I am glad there is still great interest in Ranpo's work to publish this second masterpiece collection. These are definitely the best two books that serves as gateways to the fascinating world of Edogawa Ranpo.
